Clinical Application
- Serum HBV RNA is a good biomarker indicating intrahepatic cccDNA
transcriptional activity, it can be used for monitoring/assessing the efficacy
of NAs antiviral therapy.
- HBV RNA levels in serum are associated with the risk of HBV viral rebound
after cessation of treatment.
- HBV RNA can early predict HBeAg seroconversion during antiviral
treatment, virological relapse and HBsAg reversion after treatment cessation.
